Library Specialist

Location: Athens College of Ministry

Attend weekly Leadership Team and Prayer Hour meetings;
Oversee the development, operation and use of the ACMin Library collection.
Train ACMin faculty and students regarding appropriate integration of ACMin Library resources into the academic curriculum and related research projects.
Prepare yearly reports related to the ACMin Library collection and use.
Assist with the implementation of process enhancements and initiatives.
Participate in data-gathering, problem-solving, and make recommendations to the ACMin President for improved operations management.
Assist and support ACMin faculty, staff, and Board as otherwise needed.

Qualifications Masters Degree in Library Science or directly related area (no exceptions).
Strong Christian spiritual maturity.
A sincere interest in furthering the ACMin mission and supporting the ACMin Belief Statement.
Excellent organizational and planning skills, including attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrate confidence around faculty, students, community members, and in meeting situations.
Strong written communication skills including the ability to prepare accurate and appropriate presentations and documentation.
A resourceful and collaborative nature that can manage and work well with multiple constituencies and strong attention to detail, with an organized work style and an achieving mindset.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and the ability to use internet technologies effectively and efficiently.
