Description (no travel required)
If you are a new GOLD member or unfamiliar with OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing then it is time to update your GOLD Interlibrary Lending (ILL) skills! OCLC ILLWeb has been retired, and all GOLD ILL activity is now conducted via the OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing System. This e-learning course offers searching basics, tips on selecting the best record, instruction on creating, producing and responding to ILL requests and even ILL etiquette. By the end of this course GOLD participants will be able to interpret the basic ILL workflow, effectively search the WorldCat database, create and manage Constant Data, update and manage your ILL Policies Directory, create, produce and update ILL requests as a borrower and respond to and update ILL requests as a lender. Come join other Georgia Online Database (GOLD) members for this 6 hour distance learning course offered in 2-hour increments for three consecutive days.
