5. How do I change between servers using the Keyboard/Video/Mouse switch in my Accounting Server rack?
Press the 'Print Screen' key on the keyboard to bring up the selection screen.

6. Are the Accounting Servers under a hardware warranty?
Are the Accounting Servers under a hardware warranty? The servers were purchased by GPLS in 2002 with a three year next business day parts, labor, and on-site response warranty.
This will expire in August 2005

7. Who is responsible for the maintenance of the servers?
Each library system's IT Administrator should be maintaining the accounting servers along with other computers on the network. Standard practices will vary from library to library, but we would suggest at a minimum:

Ownership and control of the Accounting Servers was transferred to individual library systems in 2003

Ownership and control of the old Compaq Proliant ("SAMSON") servers was transferred to the libraries in 2003. This document contains information about decommissioning and the choices for disposal of the old servers
