Contact Elaine Black for more info: eblack@georgialibraries.orgCelebrating its 11th year, the Children's Services Annual Conference (CSAC) is an opportunity for personnel working with children in public libraries and school media centers throughout the state to meet new people, renew contacts, and learn the latest information affecting the diverse field in which they work.

There are some exciting programs in 2009. Nationally known storyteller J’Miah Nabawi will present two different workshops—and kick off the morning with some stories.  National early literacy expert Saroj Ghoting will present the afternoon general session.

Attention has been paid to the responses to questions asked on the Georgia Public Library Service Children’s Listserv.  There is a wide array of topics covered at CSAC this February.  From technology to old-fashioned reading fun, from the time-honored tradition of storytelling to developing an audience, it is all there. Tweens to toddlers, multicultural storytelling to Better Brains for Babies, CSAC has it all.
