Adult Services Coordinator

Athens-Clarke County Library is seeking an enthusiastic, bold team leader to become Adult Services Coordinator in the Librarys newly expanded building. We are looking to hire a dynamic, energetic leader who looks toward the future of librarianship and can lead and inspire staff in the adult reference department. This 40 hours per week full-time position supervises adult information services areas of the library, including reference services, readers advisory, local history/genealogy, and computer assistance to the public. This position plans, develops, implements and evaluates the projects, programs and activities of Reference Services and the Heritage Room. This position will also investigate, recommend, and implement technology products and innovations to meet emerging needs. Reports to Assistant Director for Public Services.

The successful applicant must possess an MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited university and have 5 years progressively responsible experience in a public library.
