Library Assistant II

This paraprofessional position is responsible for the maintenance and inventory (stack management) of the circulating book collection along with training and supervising student shelvers. Serves at the circulation desk on a daily schedule and assists with intercampus loan and GIL Express services as well as other circulation duties. Assists with reference services support as needed.

Qualifications Must be detail oriented with superior organizational skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office suite and a working knowledge of Library of Congress call number system.
