Location: Odum Library / Valdosta State University

Applications and nominations are invited for a twelve-month, tenure track position at the rank of Instructor of Library Science. Responsibilities include general reference service, bibliographic instruction, and coordination of electronic resources. Some evening and weekend work required. Valdosta State University is a doctoral granting regional university, recognized as a technology leader, in the University System of Georgia. We enjoy a temperate climate and Southern hospitality. Qualifications Applicants are required to have an ALA-accredited or Georgia Board of Regents approved MLIS degree, public service experience, and excellent interpersonal skills. It is desirable for the applicant to show evidence of team participation in a work setting and experience using instructional technologies and electronic resources.
