Library Coordinator - Polk County Campus

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time campus library coordinator. The hours will primarily be during the day Monday through Thursday but the successful candidate should have a schedule that would allow for some occasional evenings and/or Fridays.

Under the supervision of the Director of Library Services, the Coordinator will plan, organize, and coordinate the campus library to support instruction and meet the objectives of GNTC. Duties will include, but may not be limited to, processing library acquisitions, providing circulation services, maintaining library records, compiling library statistics providing reference services, leading library instruction, training and coordinating campus library personnel, maintaining library technology, and providing high quality patron focused customer service.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Masters of Education or higher with Media Certification. Five years of library experience. Customer-focused. Excellent communication, interpersonal and technology skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in Library Science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution Two years of coordinating/supervising library experience.
