Community Engagement: A Case Study

Public libraries across the country and beyond are working to develop community engagement efforts that address changing community landscapes and initiate innovative and responsive service development and community change. In 2013 The Seattle Public Library identified five service priorities and began the process of articulating a path forward for each. Community engagement principles and practices have come to the forefront on each of these priorities. Join us to hear about our vision and guiding principles for this work, progress on implementation, and lessons learned.
