Project Outcome: An Integral Part of the Planning Process

Thursday, December 10, 2015 - 2:00pm

This webinar is designed to teach participants how to effectively include Project Outcome in the library planning process as it relates to strategic goals, decision making, and program evaluation.

The outcome measurement process involves four key steps: 1) Set Goals, 2) Measure Outcomes, 3) Review Results, and 4) Take Action. While this webinar will cover all four outcome measurement steps, the focus will be on step 1, which includes setting goals based on community needs and identifying responsive library services to measure based on those goals.

This webinar will review common scenarios demonstrating how Project Outcome can be included in the planning process and will include real-life planning examples from Skokie (Ill.) Public Library. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas.
