Wednesday, May 25, 2016 - 2:00pm

Learn about Madison Public Library’s participatory process for building their eastside strategic plan. After holding more than 50 citywide dialogues that engaged Madison’s underrepresented communities, the library used the emerging themes to build a framework for prioritizing facility sites and services and designing outcome measures.

This talk discusses lessons learned, how to keep equity in the front seat of library planning and how you can scale this process to your institution.
