Ready for the Hunt: Researching Grant Opportunities
June 9 & 17 2009

Description:
Finding a grant opportunity is the hardest part of grant work. It is like panning for gold. You can work very hard for several days and only find dust. The tricks are (1) knowing where to look and (2) staying abreast of new opportunities through networking and research.

This training will provide websites for federal, state, private and foundation grant opportunities. Several grants will be identified as opportunities to apply for immediately. CE credit will be offered. The presentation will last approximately one hour, including time for questions and discussion. The training will be offered at four different times during the middle of June 2009:

• Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 9:00am
• Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2:00pm
• Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 10:00am
• Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 2:30pm

Location: Online (Wimba)
