Description:

This three-part online workshop series is for YOU if you want to learn and practice some tips and techniques for improving your presentations... whether you are a first time or seasoned presenter. Are you presenting at the upcoming COMO conference or addressing your board or local government officials anytime soon? If so, this series is just in time! There are many benefits to having good presentation skills including:

  • Improved organization and delivery of information
  • Increased confidence and poise in front of an audience
  • Increased confidence in opening a session and handling introductions
  • More compelling PowerPoint presentations
  • Better able to engage and manage your audience

 

Topics include:

  • Part I - The importance of introductions: introducing yourself and others, setting up others for success and preparing the "elevator speech"
  • Part II - Tips and techniques for perfecting your PowerPoint presentation
  • Part III - Connecting with your audience, establishing your credibility, setting expectations, managing your audience and memorable conclusions to your presentation
