The Friends of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library will hold its first annual used book sale Friday and Saturday at the library, located at 204 5th St. S.E. in Moultrie.
The sale, planned to coincide with Downtown Spring Fling, will raise funds to support library programs, and purchase books and materials. Items for sale include pre-owned hardback and paperback books, movies and children's books priced from $.25 to $2.00. Library canvas book bags will also be for sale for $5.00.
The Saturday sale opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. From 2 p.m.-3 p.m. shoppers can fill a bag provided by the Friends with remaining items for $1 per bag. Items not sold will be donated to the prison and local nonprofits.
