Debut Author Lauretta Hannon, The Cracker Queen: A Memoir of a Jagged, Joyful Life, teams up with award winning Georgia novelist, Terry Kay, author of To Dance with the White Dog, in a presentation with live taping for two special editions of Cover to Cover by GPB. From her wildly popular NPR segments to her boisterous one-woman show, Lauretta is showing the world a different kind of girl raised in the South. Terry Kay is a 2006 inductee into the Georgia Writer’s Hall of Fame. He is the author of 10 published novels.
