Introduction

Shoes and Safety at the library

Once again, spring seems to be almost here, and we are all ready to soak up some of those rays. While appearance does count in the jobs we all do, especially those of us who work with the public, we also have to be conscious of safety issues, which brings me to the point. Effective immediately, all shoes worn to work at the library must have a closed toe and heel. This applies to all employees.
