The Atlanta Metro Library for Accessible Services (AMLAS) provides free library service for the Atlanta-metro patrons of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual or physical disability. Our books and magazines are available on digital cartridges, cassette and in Braille, and we also provide playback machines. Our materials can also be downloaded by registered users.
AMLAS is part of the Georgia Library for Accessible Statewide Services (GLASS). Our service area includes the following counties: Clayton, Cobb, Dawson, Dekalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Hall, Henry, Lupkin, and Rockdale.
The Atlanta Metro Library for Accessible Services (AMLAS) will open its latest art exhibit on Thursday, April 4, to coincide with First Thursdays Downtown Atlanta Art Walk. The show features the works of two area artists: Atlanta's Sanjumi and Deborah Hudgens Pinson.
